Trinity Middle School

     This proposal was a group project with two other team members. I was heavily involved in the conceptual process through the schematic phase. My role was to plan out the programming of the floorplan and conduct the calculations to have the building meet the 2030 challenge of using as many renewable resources as possible. 

     The building is a Hybrid Resource Educational Facility that will house a middle school, satellite community college, and the local library. We envision the space to bring the neighborhood through integrative learning. It will operate as a middle school by day and serve higher education courses at night, while the library will operable to the neighborhood throughout the day. The building will be a safe haven, as it will demonstrate sustainable features and a net zero footprint. The building will set an example for future educational hybrids as it meets the 2030 challenge.
